Bill Ross
The founder of Better Accounting Services Inc. is Bill Ross, who is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts.
Bill likes to think he brings a unique approach to taxes, bookkeeping and payroll because of his educational background.
Bill was raised in the Sturbridge area. He received his Bachelor in Arts degree in Economics from Union College. He then worked for 3 years in the hotel and restaurant industry becoming Controller of the Hampshire Hotel in Washington D.C.
Bill then received a Masters in Business Administration with a Finance concentration from the College of William and Mary.
Bill worked for a Big 8 accounting firm in Boston, where he qualified as a Certified Public Accountant.
He then worked in industry for 12 years, the last years as Controller of Worcester Control Inc. of Marlborough, MA.
Because of this background, Bill is often able to work with clients in seeing both the big picture of the economy, how clients can work within the financial system, in addition to understanding the tax system and how it can work to the advantage of clients.
Bill takes pride in his personable manner and his ability to translate technical tax language into information that taxpayers can use in their everyday lives.
